Land Use Planning Committee
The Land Use Planning Committee (LUP) meets to discuss the alignment and intergration of strategic land use, future development, facility needs, and utilization to serve The University of New Mexico’s distinctive missions. The committee is developing:
- Long-Range Integrated Land Planning strategies for UNM academic & business services, UNM Health & Health Sciences, Lobo Development, and Branch Campuses;
- Real Estate development strategies to identify highest & best use, land valuation, and revenue generation;
- UNM Site development proposals while weighing considerations such as: sustainability plan, parking replacement, utility connections, UNM Heritage Preservation Plan, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging principles.
