4: Implement

1. Upon approval of space allocation recommendations, the Space Allocation Committee initiates the capital approval process.

2. In the capital approval process, the unit and Space Allocation Committee may secure funding from any of the following sources:

  • Legislative (Capital Planning Leadership Team)
  • FIN
  • Department
  • Grant
  • Other

3. Once funding is secured, the unit will submit a project request via project intake to have a PDC Project Manager assigned. Then PDC will hire the architect and engineering team and work with the unit to renovate, build, or otherwise prepare the infrastructure for the new space.

4. Once the construction schedule has been completed and IT infrastructure is in place, PDC coordinates the move to the new space.
