Texanna brings over 14 years of administrative and managerial experience, with more than 10 years of her career dedicated to roles at UNM. Her expertise encompasses financial management, human resources management, and operations. With UNM, Texanna has navigated budgeting processes, capital planning, and providing oversight to large budgets with varying and multiple funding sources. She also possesses in-depth knowledge of UNM’s HR processes and systems, including the new SPET tool, UNMJobs, and HR Reports. Furthermore, Texanna holds a Master of Public Administration degree with a concentration in Human Resources Management and is also a doctoral candidate in Organizational, Information, Learning Sciences, focusing on Organizational Development.
 
In her role, Texanna serves as both the ISS Fiscal Agent and HR Agent. She oversees financial operations for the VP Office and establish tools, systems, and processes to guide and support the financial managers. She also oversees strategic human resource development and management for ISS in partnership with HR Shared Services team.
