Interviews/ Charrettes

The word charrette refers to a collaborative design process in which a group of designers and stakeholders draft a solution to a design problem. While the structure of a charrette varies, depending on the design problem and the individuals in the group, charrettes often take place over several days, with the overall group divided into sub-groups. Each sub-group then presents it's work to the full group for consideration and discussion. Such charrettes serve as a way of quicly generating a design solution while integrating varying perspectives of a diverse group of people.
