The Preliminary Materials developed by American Campus Communities (ACC), for new student housing on UNM's Central Campus, were approved by the UNM Board of Regents on February 15th, 2011.

The UNM Design Review Board membership and process has been revamped and updated. The Design Review Board (DRB)is an advisory board reviewing all major architecture and landscape architecture projects and issues on the Central Campus. Find out more here.

Planning & Campus Development has acquired twenty new bicycle lockers as part of their on-going effort to promote the UNM Bicycle Master Plan implementation goals. UNM is represented by PCD in the City of Albuquerque's Bicycle Master Plan Stakeholders Taskforce and was able to negotiate the lockers for free through an established City grant. Their value is over $30,000.
