The UNM Campus was designated an Arboretum in 1994. Plant ID tags and self-guided tour brochures were developed. Since that time hundreds of students, faculty, staff and visitors have enjoyed this very special amenity. These brochures and plant ID tags are being updated to reflect changes in the campus landscape.
Four self-guided tour brochures are in development. These tours will be available at the four tour ‘start’ locations, The Welcome Center, Hodgin Hall, The Maxwell Museum and the HSC Library and Informatics Center. Tours can also be downloaded by visiting the links below.
