Space Committees

The Space Management Office participates and supports various committees.

UNM Space Allocation Committee

The Main Campus Space Allocation Committee is an administrative committee appointed by the Provost to oversee the assignment and utilization of all facilities and spaces owned or leased by the University for Main Campus units.

The membership of the Main Campus Space Allocation Committee consists of designees from the following offices:

  • Provost Office
  • Budget Office
  • Office of the Vice President for Research & Economic Development
  • Registrars Office
  • Office of Planning and Campus Development
  • Physical Plant Department
  • Office of Capital Projects
  • Real Estate Department

HSC Space Allocation Committee

The Health Sciences Center, School of Medicine (SOM) Space Committee is an administrative committee appointed by the Executive Vice President for Health Sciences Center to oversee the assignment and utilization of all facilities and spaces owned or leased by the University for Health Sciences Center units.

The membership of the SOM Space Committee consists of designees from the following offices:

  • HSC Administration
  • Department Chairs or designee from SOM, COP, CON
  • Planning and Campus Development
